Religion and the Construction of Morality, Spirituality and Emotional Support among Female Students of District Kohat

The role of religion is multidimensional across the societies in which it is practiced and acted upon. The major roles can be ideological, such as belief-making, prayers, spirituality, morality, political and economic concepts, and the social system. In light of this idea, this article aimed to explore the construction of moral, spiritual, and emotional beings. The researchers used a qualitative intrinsic case study, interviewing 25 female undergraduate students selected through purposive sampling. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that religion plays an important role in sacred trust, understanding of right and wrong, integrity, divine support, and fortune; these categories are grouped under one theme named "provident". The research provides a novel understanding of religion and its impact on female undergraduate students in District Kohat.
