Street crime poses a significant challenge to public safety, social cohesion, and peaceful coexistence in urban communities. Although law enforcement remains essential for crime control, crime prevention education serves as an important strategy for strengthening community resilience and promoting sustainable peace. This study examines the role of street crime prevention education in fostering peace resilience through a community-based approach. The study employs a descriptive mixed-methods research design to explore public awareness, preventive knowledge, community participation, and perceptions of safety in relation to street crime. A sample of 200 participants was selected from urban communities in Karachi using a purposive sampling technique to obtain relevant information regarding crime prevention education, community safety, and peace resilience. Quantitative and qualitative data were used to examine respondents' perceptions of crime prevention practices, public trust, social harmony, and collective responsibility. The study also explores the significance of collaboration among educational institutions, community organizations, policymakers, and law enforcement agencies in promoting preventive practices and strengthening public trust. The findings highlight the role of crime prevention education in enhancing public awareness, encouraging collective responsibility, and supporting resilient communities. The study concludes that integrating educational initiatives into community development and public safety policies can contribute to strengthening peace resilience, improving social cohesion, and building safer and more sustainable urban communities.
